To Gift Or For Self Care During The Holidays

(Or Anytime)

As the flurry of holiday shopping picks up, I find myself craving a different kind of gift-giving. One that's less about accumulating more stuff and more about cultivating presence and connection.

If you're looking for meaningful gifts that invite your loved ones (or yourself!) to slow down and tune in, I’ve listed a few of my favorite things.

Of course, the most precious gift is often the simplest: Our full presence and attention. No fancy tools or elaborate plans needed—just a commitment to showing up fully and holding space for ourselves and those we love.

May this season bring you moments of connection, clarity, and joy.

Favorite Stocking Stuffer:

Lazy Readers. Why these are not a viral sensation is totally beyond me! One of the top areas of focus with my clients is posture, specifically forward head posture. Did you know that even shoulder pain is often related to forward head posture? I have personally purchased so many of these glasses to give to clients, friends, and family. I’m obsessed. They look hilarious, and someday I want to organize a flash mob of folks walking through the neighborhood wearing these. I use them every night when I’m reading.

Favorite Party Touch:

Jüj Bitters. My friend, Meg Gerber, is the visionary behind this product. She’s also a super smart and passionate registered dietician who makes sure her product is celiac friendly and good for your gut. These bitters are the perfect addition to your holiday drink station. Add some drops to hop water, toss in some cranberries and a sprig of rosemary, and you’ve got yourself a great mocktail with no hangover. Or go to their website to find all sorts of great drink recipes. I’m also really into putting some drops of the cacao bitters into my morning coffee—what a way to start the day. I like their 4 packs because I can’t choose just one favorite flavor. Take 10% off your purchase using the code: KAITAMRAZEK10

Favorite Wine

Tribeca Wine Collective. My friends, Alana and Matt, along with their adorable son, Maverick, are the heart and soul of this wine label. Maverick has already found his calling—helping with harvest, stomping the grapes, and hosting grape juice tastings for his school friends. This family knows wine. This is a great price point for delicious wine. I don’t drink that often anymore, so I’ve simplified my life and I just get their wine club shipment to always have my favorites on hand as hostess gifts or for entertaining. I love a bold red, so my fav is their Ocean Ave Cabernet. Also, if you ever wanted to fall in love with Merlot again, theirs will surprise and delight. Easter-egg: Each cork has lovingly canonized their dearly departed pet dog, Cassius. That’s the level of love that goes into their details.

A gift card to The Desert Canary. I’m so lucky to be in residence in the same building as these practitioners. Recently voted the best acupuncture in Austin, the environment of the Desert Canary is next-level. Walk through the doors and you’ll instantly feel transported into an oasis of healing. Visionary Brooke Taylor makes sure that all your senses are engaged and delighted the moment you enter. These practitioners are all masters of their craft, and have years of experience. You can get cupping, acupuncture, herbs, red light, ashiatsu, craniosacral, and more holistic therapies. If you can, I recommend that you (or your loved one) make a day of it, and book multiple treatments back to back. Staycation, why not?

The Healy. If you’ve been in my room, you might have noticed a strange device that looks like a smoke detector. That would be the MagHealy Pro. It uses magnetic frequencies to create healing atmospheres or run programs for healing in your body. I’m still testing it out, but my friend, Em Strong, has been an advocate and user of it for years. I asked her to share her Healy story with me. [Click here to read it] Healy runs a lot of great deals throughout the year so make sure to check the SALES. I think this is a great gift for home use self-care, and the MagHealy is a cool addition to the room for wellness practitioners. FDA-cleared, and you can use your HSA to pay for it!

The Biomat. If you come to my room at The Road, you’ll see my big, beautiful Biomat pro. I love having it in my space to keep all my table props and pillows warm for you, but also when you really need to detox and reduce inflammation, we’ll put you right on it. I enjoyed it for its relaxing properties for years, but this year, I became even more of a believer in its abilities when my mom gave it a try and saw incredible results. Truly a game-changer for chronic pain and inflammation. Click here to read Mom’s story.

The Listening Movement Membership. It’s finally here! My vision for the membership is a hub for you to have the tools you need to develop your own practice and become your own healer. In the Movement Library, you’ll find gifs for movements you learn in class or in my studio. Peruse and find the ones that help you the most, or start with an element that stands out to you. You’ll also find blogs with sample gif flows. Free access to all live virtual classes and replays, and a library of recorded classes for anytime.
